Merrick Jeep Chrysler Dodge Inc, a proud member of VIP Automotive Group of Long Island, is seeking an experienced Automotive Sales Manager to join our dynamic team. Full-Time Opportunity: 5/6 Day Work Week; Weekend Availability Required. Salary: $100,000 - $125,000 plus commission and bonuses.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of sales manager experience in automotive dealerships.
• Proven track record of closing sales successfully.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
• Proficiency with dealership software (CDK, VinSolutions, AutoAlert).
• Excellent understanding of dealership sales processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead, direct, and support the Sales Team to achieve sales goals.
• Supervise and manage the sales team’s daily activities, including prospecting and networking to acquire new customers.
• Utilize strong desking skills to assist in deal structuring and closing.
• Ensure all deals comply with local, state, and federal guidelines.
• Train, motivate, and coach the sales team for peak performance.
• Manage and maintain the customer database to support sales initiatives.
• Collaborate with General Management for deal turnovers and effective operations.
• Promote the success of the company, dealership, and sales staff.
