Merrick Jeep Chrysler Dodge Inc, a proud member of the VIP Automotive Group, is seeking an experienced Automotive Sales Manager to join our Long Island team. This full-time role offers a competitive salary range and weekend availability with opportunities for growth within a successful auto group.

The position requires leadership of the sales team, strong closing skills, and a deep knowledge of dealership software.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of Sales Manager experience within an automotive dealership.
• Proven track record of strong closing skills.
• Extensive knowledge of CDK, VinSolutions, and AutoAlert.
• Ability to train and motivate a high-performing sales team.
• Excellent understanding and execution of dealership sales processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead, direct, and support the Sales Team to achieve sales goals.
• Supervise and manage the sales team’s daily activities, including prospecting and networking to acquire new customers.
• Utilize strong desking skills to assist in deal structuring and closing.
• Ensure all deals comply with local, state, and federal guidelines.
• Train, motivate, and coach the sales team for peak performance.
• Manage and maintain the customer database to support sales initiatives.
• Collaborate with General Management for deal turnovers and effective operations.
• Promote the success of the company, dealership, and sales staff.

Salary Range: $100,000.00 To $125,000.00 Annually

Weekend Availability Required
Salary:$100,000 - $125,000 plus - (inclusive of commission and bonuses)
