Job summary

Albany Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram and Hyundai of Albany, part of the Five Star Automotive Group, is seeking an experienced Automotive Sales Manager. The role leads the sales team, drives targets, and delivers exceptional customer service in a busy automotive environment.

This position offers strong earning potential, relocation assistance for the right candidate, and growth opportunities within a large dealer group committed to service and success.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of dealership sales management experience.
• Aggressive, motivated leader with passion for success and customer service.
• Forecast monthly sales volume and maintain sufficient gross to meet profit objectives.
• Create and organize all sales activities for the sales department.
• Recruit, hire and develop a retail sales force.
• Meet and exceed factory sales and customer satisfaction objectives.
• Set the highest level of professionalism for your team.
• Work with Finance to ensure performance metrics are achieved.
• Negotiate pricing with customers; problem solving.
• Strong communication, computer and basic math skills.
• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Lead the dealership's sales strategy and drive overall performance.
• Set and monitor monthly/quarterly sales targets; ensure profitability.
• Recruit, train and mentor the retail sales team.
• Collaborate with Finance to structure deals and maximize gross.
• Negotiate pricing and close deals with customers; resolve issues.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain customer satisfaction.
• Uphold professionalism and ethics across the sales team.
