  • Develop buyers by maintaining rapport with previous customers; suggest trade-ins; meet prospects at community activities; greet drop-ins; respond to inquiries; recommend sales campaigns and promotions.
  • Qualify buyers by understanding their requirements and interests; match requirements to various models; build rapport.
  • Demonstrate automobiles by explaining characteristics, capabilities, and features; facilitate test drives; explain warranties and services.
  • Close sales by overcoming objections; ask for the sale; negotiate price; complete sales or purchase contracts; explain provisions; offer warranties, services, and financing options; collect payment; deliver the automobile.
  • Provide sales management information by completing reports.
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; read professional publications.
  • Enhance dealership reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; explore opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
