Job summary

Ducharme Motors in Minnesota is seeking an energetic sales associate to join our team. You will write sales orders, process paperwork, and help customers find the right vehicle, using dealership systems for follow-up and training as needed.

We value exceptional customer service, outgoing communication, and a clean driving record. Prior dealership experience is a plus. We offer base pay with commission, plus a strong benefits package and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in providing exceptional customer service.
• Outgoing and confident demeanor.
• Excellent listening and communication skills.
• Ability to drive legally with a clean driving abstract.
• Bonus for prior sales or dealership experience.

Responsibilities

• Writes complete sales orders and processes paperwork per dealership policy.
• Uses dealership sales control and follow-up systems.
• Attends product and sales training as requested by sales manager.
• Keeps up-to-date on required manufacturer training and new products.
• Satisfies transportation needs of vehicle purchasers.
• Greet and assist customers entering the showroom or sales lot.
• Assist customers in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening.
• Explain product performance, applications, and benefits to prospects.
• Describe all optional equipment available for purchase.
• Offer test drives and obtain proper identification per procedure.
• Demonstrate commitment to customer satisfaction and ethical sales.
• Understand laws governing retail automobile sales and depreciation.
