Job summary

AUDI OF FAIRFIELD is seeking a Sales Assistant to support Senior Sales staff in selling new and used vehicles at dealership standards for gross profit, volume and customer satisfaction. You will greet customers, assist in selecting vehicles, and prepare sales orders, ensuring paperwork complies with dealership policies.

You will follow up with customers after purchase, demonstrate vehicles, and help maintain a high level of customer service while adhering to all regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Able to establish personal sales goals and implement a plan of action.
• Ability to understand and comply with federal, state, and local regulations impacting retail automotive sales.
• Computer proficiency for sales administration and CRM usage.
• Good communication skills both oral and written.
• Ability to work independently and complete assignments within defined procedures.
• Ability to collect and analyze data to support management decisions.
• Ability to interact well with others and maintain morale in the department.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to Senior Sales Associate in finding vehicles, responding to customers, and following up after sale.
• Greet customers entering the showroom and assist in vehicle selection.
• Write complete sales orders and process paperwork per dealership policy.
• Demonstrate new vehicles and offer test drives to prospects.
• Explain product performance, options, and benefits to customers.
• Ensure customer expectations are met and maintain professional appearance and ethics.
• Follow up on post-delivery items and service referrals to encourage repeat business.
