GLS North America is seeking a Retrofit Technician to perform basic to mild automotive repairs and diagnostics. You will work from 3300 General Motors Road, Milford, MI, applying programs to vehicle modules and ensuring work aligns with SAS mission and values.

The role requires lifting, standing, and using a variety of hand and power tools, with a focus on safe, efficient service. Competitive pay and a team-focused environment await.

Qualifications

Must have valid driver’s license.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Must be able to stand for extended periods.
Own a cell phone to communicate with clients and teammates.
Basic understanding of using a computer to program vehicle modules.
Proper use of hand and power tools and handling fluids.

Responsibilities

Perform basic to mild automotive repairs.
Remove and place parts as directed.
Diagnose vehicles as they come in.
Program modules within vehicles using a computer.
Address miscellaneous issues and outline corrective steps.
Adhere to company values and mission.
