Job summary

GLS North America is seeking a motivated Retrofit Technician to join our automotive services team in the United States. You will learn and perform basic repairs under experienced leads, assisting with part removals, installations, and vehicle modifications.

You will diagnose issues using advanced tools, support programming tasks, and maintain a safe, organized workspace. We offer paid training, growth opportunities, and a culture focused on excellence.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License with good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Learn and perform basic automotive repairs with Retrofit Technician Team Leads.
• Assist with part removals, installations, and vehicle modifications.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues using advanced tools.
• Support programming and module reconfiguration processes.
• Maintain a clean workspace and follow safety procedures.
• Participate in team safety meetings and training sessions.

What You’ll Do

What You Bring

• A strong passion for cars and hands-on mechanical work.
• Eagerness to learn and grow under the mentorship of seasoned technicians.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Basic mechanical aptitude or hands-on experience (preferred but not required).
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.
• Valid Driver's License with an adequate driving record.
• A positive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to work hard.
• Must meet company background check and drug screen requirements.
