Job summary

Genuine Parts Company in Belcher, AR is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for our NAPA retail store. This role combines automotive knowledge, customer service, and leadership to operate the store and lead the team.

You will partner with the Store Manager on daily operations, incentives, and ensuring excellent customer experiences. This position progresses toward Store Manager, may require overtime and keyholder responsibilities opening/closing.

Qualifications

• Must have leadership experience and coaching ability.
• Experience in automotive or retail environment preferred.
• Ability to manage inventory and sales performance.

Responsibilities

• Partner daily with Store Manager on operations, sales, inventory health, and team performance.
• Actively sell and build relationships with customers across in-store, phone, and dealer channels.
• Model behaviors and customer service standards across the store.
• Execute opening and closing routines, cash reconciliation and end-of-day reports.
• Coordinate scheduling, compliance docs, and basic P&L awareness tasks.
• Monitor core metrics (sales, inventory accuracy, customer satisfaction) and solve problems.
• Provide leadership, coaching and development for successors.
• Drive safety, asset protection and continuous improvement initiatives.
