Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a General Manager who will inspire the team, support Customer success, and drive growth with integrity. This exempt role demands understanding of store systems, parts knowledge, and the ability to troubleshoot for DIY projects.

The GM will oversee hiring, coaching, scheduling, and performance management while ensuring inventory and service standards. This role requires a commitment of 50–55 hours weekly, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in business or related area preferred.
• Experience in retail management is essential.
• ASE certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Achieve overall store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage and grow Professional Customer relationships and sales.
• Hire, develop, coach, and schedule store Team Members.
• Ensure execution of inventory and operational standards.
• Coach team to meet Customer expectations (DIY and Professional).
• Responsible for duty manager tasks and safety compliance.
• Lead change management and promote a diverse, respectful environment.
• Provide DIY services and assist in other functions when needed.
