Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a General Manager to inspire the team, drive sales, and grow the business with integrity. The role requires automotive knowledge, strong leadership, and the ability to manage both DIY and professional customers.

Exempt position with a long schedule and potential overtime; typically 50–55 hours per week. The General Manager will oversee hiring, coaching, and performance management, plus inventory and POS operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree in business or related area preferred.
• ASE certification preferred, but not required.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Achieve overall store sales goals and service objectives.
• Grow Professional Customer relationships and sales with accountable team execution.
• Hire, develop, coach, schedule and engage store team members.
