Belle Tire Inc. is seeking an Assistant Manager in Lansing, MI to support the Store Manager in leading daily operations, driving sales, and delivering a premium customer experience.

The role focuses on coaching the team, maintaining store standards, and ensuring smooth, profitable store performance in a hands-on, fast-paced environment. You will act as the manager on duty in the Manager's absence, develop staff, and champion Belle Tire's 6‑Step Sales Process while maintaining a safe, inclusive

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent; 2–4 years of leadership experience in a retail or customer-facing environment.
• Proven ability to lead teams, drive sales, and deliver excellent customer experiences.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Financial literacy and comfort with operational reporting and performance metrics.
• Proficiency in POS systems, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in coaching, developing, and motivating the store team.
• Lead by example to promote accountability, teamwork, and engagement consistent with Belle Tire's culture.
• Observe and coach team members through huddles, real-time feedback, and training.
• Act as the manager on duty in the Store Manager's absence.
• Drive the 6-Step Sales Process to increase sales and customer trust.
• Oversee daily store functions including scheduling, inventory, and shop coordination.
• Assist with P&L management by monitoring sales, labor, and expenses.
• Maintain accurate reporting, recordkeeping, and inventory control.
