Job summary
GLS North America is seeking a Resale Technician in Michigan to inspect, remove prototype parts, order replacements, install parts, complete vehicle modifications and recalls, and conduct final inspections before road tests. A tester then sends the vehicle to Ford or auction.
Requires attention to detail and strong mechanical aptitude. The role offers a starting pay of $20 per hour, Monday–Friday, 6:00 am–3:30 pm, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance,
Qualifications
- : Requirements include a valid driver’s license, strong communication, customer service orientation, time management and multitasking, being a self-starter and reliable team player, knowledge of vehicle parts and systems, ASE certifications, plus computer diagnostics and electronics proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Inspect vehicles and remove prototype parts and order replacements.
- Install parts and complete vehicle mods and recalls.
- Perform final inspections and prep vehicles for road tests.
- Diagnose issues and install ordered parts.
- Perform electronic updates or flashing as needed.
- Adhere to DRIVEN values and support SAS mission.
