Qualifications

• Resumes must clearly demonstrate relevant automotive experience and skills as they pertain to this position.
• Six months of general experience and six months of specialized automotive experience must be clearly identified in the resume.
• Must have basic knowledge of automotive repair and ability to use standard and metric tools.
• Must be able to operate a motor vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Assists senior mechanics in performing comprehensive maintenance and repairs on a variety of combustion-powered vehicles.
• Performs removal and replacement of standard automotive parts such as spark plugs, belts, hoses, brake shoes, water pumps, and mufflers under direct supervision.
• Aids in making crucial vehicle settings and adjustments, including setting engine idle and timing, adjusting brakes, and gapping spark plugs.
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment by strictly observing all environmental, safety, and security protocols.
• Utilizes standard and metric automotive hand and powered tools to complete repairs and maintenance tasks efficiently.
