Job summary

Obsolete Site in the United States, Fort Drum, seeks an automotive assistant to support senior mechanics in the maintenance and repair of combustion-powered vehicles. You will assist with removing and replacing parts such as spark plugs, belts, hoses, brake shoes, water pumps, and mufflers under supervision.

You will help set engines idle, timing, brakes, and spark plug gaps, while maintaining safety and order in a busy shop.

Qualifications

Two-page resume required; demonstrate relevant automotive repair experience.
High school diploma or trade school equivalent is required (must be uploaded).
Six months general experience and six months specialized automotive experience; clearly identified in resume.
Ability to operate a motor vehicle and basic knowledge of automotive repair.

Responsibilities
