Job summary

Goken America is seeking a Reliability Test Engineer to support automotive reliability engineering test and development activities. You will validate vehicle systems to meet strength and durability targets and develop countermeasures with cross-functional teams to meet customer expectations.

Responsibilities include leading test activities, driving tests when needed, using data acquisition tools, and benchmarking to set targets. Travel to client sites is required as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 2+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Engineering background in Mechanical, Aerospace, Automotive or Manufacturing is preferred.
• At least 2 years using Data Acquisition tools.
• Hands-on wrenching and vehicle instrumentation experience.
• Experience using CATIA V5/V6 for basic fixture design and layout reviews.
• Test track/driving experience required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support engineering test activities, applying engineering principles and test plans to validate parts and systems.
• Perform objective/subjective testing by driving when required.
• Use data acquisition tools to collect, analyze, and report results.
• Conduct vehicle benchmarking to set targets and support vehicle tuning and instrumentation.
• Collaborate with design and CAE teams to report results and develop countermeasures.
• Travel to client/test sites as needed.
