Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Reliability Development Test Engineer in Raymond, OH, to lead reliability tests for vehicles and subsystems, analyze data, and develop corrective actions. You will coordinate test setups, work with cross-functional teams, and document results for leadership review.

The role requires a BS in Mechanical Engineering, 1+ year of engineering experience, and hands-on test equipment familiarity. Proficiency in CAD/FEA tools and scripting to automate tasks is desired.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of engineering experience (co-op or internship acceptable).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for data analysis, documentation, and reporting.
• Experience in data analysis and the ability to communicate complex technical information to engineering management.
• Hands-on familiarity with test equipment used in reliability and durability testing environments.

Responsibilities

• Produce and analyze engineering data using established tools, methods, and formats.
• Plan, prepare, and coordinate all aspects of reliability tests and simulations, including facilities and parts.
• Physically support tests by confirming test setups and execution accuracy.
• Prepare moderate documentation for technical leadership review.
• Coordinate root cause analysis activities related to performance issues.
• Develop and propose countermeasure plans for validation concerns.
• Support improvement initiatives by communicating findings to leadership.
• Use data acquisition tools to capture test data and produce clear reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate results into vehicle development.
• Apply CAD/FEA tools to support durability and reliability assessments.
