Wilbert’s is a family owned automotive recycling company based out of Webster NY since 1952. We are seeking individuals to support maintenance and yard operations with a Monday–Friday shift from 7am to 3:30pm.

This non-exempt role involves sorting, handling materials, and performing safety-conscious duties in a loud outdoor environment. Prior experience is helpful but not required; training and equipment are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Forklift certification.
• Experience or knowledge in the automotive industry.

Responsabilités

• Preps cores for finalization and shipment after items have been removed from vehicles.
• Sort materials, such as metals, glass, wires, paper or plastics, into appropriate containers for recycling.
• Clean recycling yard by sweeping, raking, picking up broken glass and loose paper debris, or moving barrels and bins.
• Sort metals to separate high-grade metals, such as copper, brass, and aluminum, for recycling.
• Break down wheels and tires.
• Test, charge and recycle dismantled vehicle batteries.
• Follows all safety policies and procedures.
