Job summary

Wilbert's is seeking a yard maintenance associate in Ontario, NY. You will safely maintain the yard and surrounding facilities, handling tires and wheel assemblies, and performing on-site setup and cleanup tasks.

The role requires outdoor work, adherence to safety policies, and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds as needed. The position is full-time, non-exempt, with a Monday–Friday shift from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Experience or knowledge in the automotive industry is beneficial.
• Candidates must be able to perform essential duties with reasonable accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality maintenance of yard and recycling buildings.
• Clear debris and trash from the yard and processing area for customers and equipment.
• Process tire and wheel assemblies including dismounting, pricing, and sorting.
• Must be able to work outside in the elements.
• Perform setup, prepping, and clean up tasks on-site
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
