Job summary

Sheehy Auto Stores is seeking a friendly, professional Receptionist/Cashier to join their team in a full-time role. You will be among the first to greet customers, handle payments, and support the service departments with clerical tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to pass pre-employment screening including background check, MVR, and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Process payments by cash, check, and credit card.
• Calculate customer bills and process repair orders using the dealership's system.
• Issue receipts and provide change as needed.
• Reconcile cash, checks, and payments at end of shift.
• Direct questions to the appropriate Service Advisor or department.
• Maintain a professional and welcoming reception area.
• Assist with general clerical and administrative duties.

What You'll Do

• Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Provide excellent customer service to customers, guests, and employees
• Process customer payments by cash, check, and credit card
• Calculate customer bills and process repair orders using the dealership's computer system
• Accurately issue receipts and provide change when needed
• Reconcile cash, checks, and credit card payments at the end of each shift
• Direct customer questions and concerns to the appropriate Service Advisor or department
• Handle customer concerns with professionalism, integrity, and poise
• Assist with general clerical and administrative duties as needed
• Maintain a professional and welcoming reception area
