Job summary

Sheehy Auto Stores in Richmond, VA is seeking a friendly Receptionist/Cashier to join our team as a full-time member. You will be the first point of contact, greet customers, handle payments, and keep the reception area organized in a fast-paced dealership environment.

You will process cash, checks, and card transactions, issue receipts, and support service advisors by directing questions. We offer benefits and opportunities for growth within a respected dealership group.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable handling cash and processing payments.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to complete pre-employment screening, including background check, MVR, and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Provide excellent customer service to customers, guests, and employees
• Process customer payments by cash, check, and credit card
• Calculate customer bills and process repair orders using the dealership's computer system
• Accurately issue receipts and provide change when needed
• Reconcile cash, checks, and credit card payments at the end of each shift
• Direct customer questions and concerns to the appropriate Service Advisor or department
• Handle customer concerns with professionalism, integrity, and poise
• Assist with general clerical and administrative duties as needed
• Maintain a professional and welcoming reception area
