Job summary

Lithia Nissan of Ames is seeking a friendly, proactive Receptionist to warmly greet customers and visitors, answer and transfer calls, and promptly respond to voicemails and leads. This on-site role in Ames, Iowa supports the Sales Manager and General Manager with accurate messages and coordinated communication.

The ideal candidate will maintain an organized reception area, take precise messages, and help track vehicle arrivals and departures, while contributing to a positive customer experience

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in customer service, reception, hospitality, automotive, or a related customer-facing role.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and visitors in a warm manner.
• Answer incoming phone calls promptly, transferring calls efficiently.
• Respond to voicemails and job leads in a timely manner.
• Take clear, accurate messages and relay them to the appropriate team member.
• Keep the reception area organized and welcoming.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicles arriving and departing the facility.
• Scanning and other supportive administrative tasks.
• Support the team with other duties as needed.
