Job summary

Autoliv United States is seeking an Engineering Quality Technician to ensure automotive components meet stringent quality standards and customer requirements. You will support inspections, testing, and process monitoring while driving corrective actions and continuous improvement with cross-functional teams.

The role emphasizes reading engineering drawings, using inspection equipment, and applying ISO 9001 knowledge to ensure traceability and product reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical degree and/or ASQ certifications preferred.
• Proficiency in measurement and inspection equipment; analyze and present measurement data.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specs.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, production docs and traceability requirements.
• Strong problem solving with root-cause analysis and basic statistics.

Responsibilities

• Ensure product and process comply with quality standards and specs.
• Conduct inspections, testing, and data analysis to assess quality and identify improvements.
• Develop, maintain, and enforce quality standards, control plans, methods and tests.
• Support root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing and Quality teams to drive improvement.
