Job summary

Oshkosh Delivery in Spartanburg, SC is seeking a Quality Technician to perform inspections and tests across production and finished vehicles. You will use MES to log findings, support plant start-ups, and participate in 8D and root-cause activities. Prior QA experience in automotive or manufacturing is preferred.

Responsibilities

Inspect in-process vehicles and sub-assemblies using work instructions and control plans.
Complete inspections and sorting on purchased components as needed.
Record inspection findings in MES and other systems.
Interface with production operators to address complex assembly steps.
Participate in plant start-up and daily review meetings.
Perform testing and drive evaluation on completed vehicles.
Create summary reports of inspection and test results.
Contribute to root-cause analysis and 8D teams.
Use CMM for part measurement and verify torque tools.
Inspect sheet metal and paint quality.
