Job summary

Oshkosh Delivery, an Oshkosh company, is seeking a Quality Technician at the Spartanburg Plant to perform inspections and tests on in‑process vehicles and sub‑assemblies, recording results in MES and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

You will use measurement tools like CMM, calipers, and micrometers, work from documented instructions, and collaborate with production to ensure quality standards are met during start-ups and daily reviews.

Qualifications

• Basic math, reading, and computer skills.
• General understanding of testing equipment.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Use inspection work instructions and control plans to inspect in-process vehicles and sub-assemblies.
• Perform inspections, sorting, and minor rework on purchased components as required.
• Record inspection/test findings in MES and other systems.
• Collaborate with production operators to resolve challenging assembly processes.
• Attend plant start-up and daily review meetings and report findings.
• Perform testing and drive evaluations on completed vehicles and prepare summary reports.
