Job summary

ASTEMO AMERICAS, INC. is seeking a senior Quality Systems Manager for our Georgia facility. You will drive quality strategy, oversee the Quality System Department, and manage audits to sustain IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 standards.

This role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration and continuous improvement across the site. The ideal candidate has a technical bachelor’s degree, 10+ years in quality, and proven supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field with 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong understanding of Automotive Industry Standards: IATF 16949 & ISO 9001; ISO 14001 a plus.
• Solid knowledge of continuous improvement, problem solving, audit principles and change management.
• Familiarity with PFMEA, Control Plan, Process Flow Chart and GD&T.
• Excellent oral and written communication across diverse teams and international settings.
• Strong project management and multi-tasking abilities; supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement progressive quality strategies aligned with company goals.
• Manage Quality System Department, budget, policies, procedures and KPIs.
• Oversee internal/external quality audits and maintain IATF 16949 certification.
• Communicate updates to standards to site teams and ensure compliance.
• Lead 8D and scrap monitoring and coordinate non-conformance resolution.
• Direct quality system improvements and initiatives across the site.
• Oversee document control and maintenance of quality records.
• Support APQP, PPAP, and customer-facing quality activities.
