Job summary

MS Companies is seeking a motivated Quality Supervisor 1 for the automotive manufacturing environment. You will lead and support inspection teams, ensure quality standards, and maintain strong customer relationships using our technology-driven systems to drive performance. The role requires 2–3 years supervisory experience in manufacturing, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to coach teams. Shift is 2nd, hourly pay with benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of supervisory or lead experience in manufacturing.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.
• Experience with quality systems and reporting tools preferred.
• Familiarity with Salesforce or similar platforms is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to coach, develop, and lead teams effectively.
• Strong customer service and relationship management skills.
• Flexibility to work any shift based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support a team of quality inspectors to ensure performance and quality.
• Maintain safe, organized work areas and enforce safety policies.
• Develop and maintain work instructions and quality processes.
• Monitor processes and equipment to ensure quality standards are met.
• Analyze data to identify trends and drive improvements.
• Coach and develop team members and provide feedback.
• Communicate expectations clearly; monitor performance and provide ongoing feedback and coaching
• Address employee relations matters including attendance, performance, and behavioral concerns in partnership with HR
• Train, mentor, and develop team members to support operational success and career growth
• Maintain strong, collaborative relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and service excellence
• Coordinate staffing and scheduling to meet production demands and customer requirements
• Accurately enter and manage time, production data, and other required inputs within company systems
