Job summary

MS Companies is seeking a hands-on Quality Team Lead to support quality inspection operations in a manufacturing environment. This role partners with the inspection team to coordinate daily assignments, train staff, monitor quality results, and serve as a primary contact for employees and customers during the shift.

Ideal candidates bring 2–3 years of leadership experience in manufacturing, expertise in quality inspection, and strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing or light industrial environment.
• Quality inspection, containment, sorting, rework, or production experience.
• Ability to understand work instructions, inspection criteria, safety procedures, and customer requirements.
• Experience training, coaching, and supporting employees.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with quality systems, reporting tools, and process improvement.
• Basic computer and data-entry skills.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example alongside quality inspectors and organize daily assignments.
• Communicate team priorities and ensure inspections are completed correctly.
• Train employees and provide coaching on processes and procedures.
• Monitor inspection results and escalate quality concerns or trends.
• Perform inspections, sorting, containment, or rework when needed.
• Maintain accurate time, attendance, production, and quality records.
• Document attendance, performance, safety, or behavioral concerns.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Liaise with customer contacts to support service expectations.
