Job summary

MS Companies Inc. is seeking an Assistant Quality Manager to support daily quality operations in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment.

The role oversees quality teams, coordinates with customers, and drives containment and continuous improvement initiatives. You will lead corrective actions, perform root cause analysis, manage new program launches, and ensure adherence to quality procedures and documentation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of leadership or supervisory experience in automotive manufacturing
• Experience managing quality teams and inspection personnel
• Strong knowledge of root cause analysis methodologies and corrective actions

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily quality operations and supervise quality supervisors and inspection teams
• Liaise with customers regarding quality performance, concerns, and requirements
• Support new program launches through implementation of quality processes on-site
• Manage sorting and containment activities to ensure timely resolution of quality concerns
• Respond to customer complaints by leading containment, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
• Ensure quality procedures and documentation are maintained and aligned with customer requirements
• Analyze quality and operational data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean manufacturing principles and quality tools
• Maintain clear reporting and documentation with internal teams and customers
• Travel to multiple customer sites as needed to support operations and issue resolution
• Lead, coach, and develop quality personnel to maintain high-performing teams
• Support preventative quality activities and participate in audits as required
