Job summary

Employbridge is seeking a Quality Engineer to maintain and improve quality systems across automotive and industrial manufacturing. You will work cross-functionally with manufacturing, suppliers, customers, and leadership to resolve quality issues and strengthen processes.

Responsibilities include leading corrective actions, root cause analysis, supplier and internal audits, PPAP, FMEA, control plans, and quality documentation, plus data analysis and supporting audits and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong technical and statistical knowledge.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.
• Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain quality systems aligned with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, GMP, and customer requirements.
• Lead and support corrective actions, root cause analysis, and preventive actions.
• Manage customer complaints and communicate with customers/suppliers on quality issues.
• Perform supplier audits, internal audits, and support third‑party audit readiness.
• Create/update control plans, FMEAs, and quality documentation.
• Compile and analyze quality data, trends, test results, and customer reports.
• Support PPAP submissions, COAs, product changes, and new product development.
• Participate in Kaizen, CI projects, and quality meetings.
• Assist with disposition of returned material.
• Serve as Product Safety Representative when required.
