Job summary

Summit Polymers in Kentucky is seeking an Engineer, Quality (Manufacturing) to lead product quality assurance activities across new product development and manufacturing operations. You will develop and manage PFMEA, Process Flow/Control Plans, Quality Inspection Standards, and PPAP submissions to meet customer requirements.

Responsibilities include leading root cause analysis, applying SPC/MSA tools, and coordinating with internal plants and external customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related science.
• 3-5 years of automotive quality experience.
• ASQC CQE certification preferred.
• Experience with IATF 16949/ISO 9001 audits is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead new product quality development including PPAP.
• Develop PFMEA, Process Flow/Control Plans, QA Inspection Standards.
• Ensure compliance with customer quality requirements throughout development.
• Support internal plant operations and supplier quality activities.
• Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions.
