Job summary

Summit Polymers is seeking an Engineer, Quality (Manufacturing) to lead quality systems, support new product quality, and drive PPAP/APQP processes in our Lawrenceburg plant.

This exempt role reports to the Manager, Quality (Manufacturing); requires 3–5 years automotive quality experience, a engineering degree, proficiency with GD&T, FMEA, MSA, and strong problem solving; travel up to 15% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related science is preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in automotive quality function is required.
• ASQC CQE certification is a plus.
• Ability to travel up to 15% as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop and manage PPAP/APQP activities and documentation.
• Support internal quality systems and root cause problem solving.
• Coordinate with customers and suppliers on quality issues and containment.
• Assist in audits and IATF/ISO compliance activities.
