Job summary

Magna Mechatronics, Mirrors & Lighting in Duncan, SC seeks a Quality Engineer to plan, support, and implement quality programs across programs. You will design QC systems, monitor costs and schedules, and collaborate with suppliers to drive improvements.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering field with understanding of advanced quality engineering practices, principles, processes, etc.; or equivalent.
Three years experience in advanced quality engineering, project/program management; or equivalent.
Demonstrated ability to conceptualize, coordinate, integrate internal data, and clearly articulate concepts and issues.
Strong organizational, project management, and leadership skills; able to work independently.
Excellent written and verbal communication to interact with internal and external contacts.

Responsibilities

Plans, supports, and implements total quality programs; defines scope and leads technical work.
Designs and installs quality control sampling systems, testing mechanisms, and equipment.
Monitors costs, timing, and budgetary requirements; reports progress as required.
Coordinates internal and external resources and resolves product and process problems.
Leads continuous improvement efforts and approaches supplier quality collaboration.
