Job summary

Magna Mechatronics, Mirrors & Lighting is seeking a QA professional to interpret and initiate elements of the Magna Mirrors quality system, perform product testing and audits to ensure compliance with customer requirements. You may lead in-house or on-site customer product sorts and re-inspections to resolve quality issues, including lifting 40 lbs or more.

Implement corrective actions and assist in root cause analyses (DCAR & 8D).

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs as needed.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and sit for extended periods.
• Working knowledge of English is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs product testing using a variety of methods.
• Audits products and processes to ensure system compliance with customer requirements/specifications.
• Leads on-site customer product sorts and re-inspections to resolve quality issues.
• Issues and implements corrective and preventive actions.
• Assists in root cause analysis processes (e.g., DCAR & 8D).
• Inspects customer part returns and disposition of non-conforming product.
• Performs fixture reliability/repeatability analysis to test measurement accuracy.
• Supports product launch activities for Quality Engineers.
• Properly handles and disposes of hazardous waste material.
