Job summary

LEHR in Lakewood, WA is seeking an Automotive Quality Control Technician to install and program emergency vehicle lighting and siren systems. This role focuses on finalizing installations, adhering to safety procedures, and maintaining an organized workspace with a team of technicians.

Responsibilities include testing completed systems, following protocols, and collaborating with first responders while developing hands-on skills in 12V electrical systems.

Qualifications

• One year of IT/Programming experience is preferred.
• Experience using hand tools and power tools required.
• Mechanical aptitude or hands-on experience required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in/around vehicles.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Emergency Vehicle Technician Certification required within 12 months of hire (will help with prep).

LEHR is seeking an experienced Automotive Quality Control Technician who will be responsible for programming the light and siren systems and finalizing all installations.

Responsibilities

• Install and program light and siren systems and other emergency vehicle equipment
• Check and finalize completed system Installations
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean workspace
• Organize tools and inventory

Qualifications

Required:

• One year of IT/Programming experience
• Experience using hand tools and power tools
• Mechanical aptitude or hands-on experience
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs. and work in/around vehicles
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and on a team
• Must respect and work positively with first responders and law enforcement
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• High school diploma or GED

Preferred:

• Experience with 12V electrical systems
• Ability to read schematics or wiring diagrams

Emergency Vehicle Technician Certification required within 12 months of hire (will help with prep)
