Job summary

Toyota Boshoku America is seeking a Quality Control professional to develop and manage documentation, analyze data, determine root causes, and implement countermeasures in a fast-paced automotive environment.

The role requires 3–5 years of QC experience in manufacturing, strong English communication, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams on kaizen activities and customer correspondence.

Open office environment; occasional overtime and rotating shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 3 to 5 years of quality control experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with manufacturing processes, tooling, quality control methods, and SPC preferred.
• Automotive industry experience preferred.
• Experience with Toyota launch systems and requirements preferred.
• Exposure to multicultural environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Record and report all end of line defects.
• Investigate defect information as needed.
• Record patrol data.
• Inspect quality of service parts before shipping.
• Initiate or revise service inspection standards as needed.
• Communicate daily with the customer.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing on kaizen activities.
• Perform supplier follow-up activities.
