Qualifications

• Experience in Quality Engineering within manufacturing (automotive preferred).
• Strong knowledge of PPAP and PCR processes.
• Experience with Toyota business systems is a plus.
• Japanese language skills are not required but would help.

• Quality Engineer

[ Summary ]

• A historic Japanese automotive supplier is seeking a Quality Engineer for its manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all parts, materials, and manufacturing processes meet strict customer requirements. We are looking for a professional with a strong understanding of automotive quality standards, specifically PPAP and PCR, to support smooth new product launches and maintain high-quality production.

[ Essential Duties ]

• Manage and execute the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and Process Change Requests (PCR) for new product launches and engineering changes.
• Evaluate supplier parts, materials, and manufacturing processes to ensure they consistently meet customer specifications and quality standards.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues, implement corrective actions, and improve shop-floor quality.
• Liaise with customers (especially automotive OEMs) regarding quality requirements and documentation.

• 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM 100% On-site

• $60K - $70K annually (Based on experience)

[ Qualifications ]

• Experience in Quality Engineering within a manufacturing environment (Automotive industry is highly preferred).
