Job summary

Astemo Ltd. in Berea, KY is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to lead QA strategies and practical execution at the USBRP2 site.

You will develop quality systems, conduct root cause analysis, and collaborate across functions to reduce defects and improve supplier and customer satisfaction. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s in engineering or technical field and at least 2 years of automotive QA experience, with strong skills in SPC, FMEA, DOE and Kaizen.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science or technical field.
• At least 2 years automotive QA experience preferred.
• Experience with SPC, FMEA, 8D and DOE knowledge.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Quality Systems and procedures.
• Facilitate root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Assist in supplier changes and interface with customers as needed.
• Inspect incoming components and finished products; support QA of PSW runs.
• Provide quality data and reports to management and other departments.
• Support continuous improvement and Kaizen activities.
