US Tsubaki Automotive, LLC is a leading supplier of high-speed chain drive systems to the automotive industry. The Production Supervisor directs union personnel across manufacturing and assembly of timing chain system components.

You will oversee daily production activities, coach staff, manage material flow, implement improvements, and collaborate with EHS, Planning, Engineering and Quality teams while ensuring safety, quality and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required
• 3 to 7 years of supervisory experience or production leadership
• Ability to present information to employees at all levels
• Ability to communicate and handle difficult situations while adhering to policy
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and work instructions
• Intermediate knowledge of Excel, Word
• Lean Manufacturing, Project Management and ISO procedures
• Microsoft Office familiarity and ERP systems
• Knowledge of EHS standards, Quality Control and Production processes
• Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
• Availability to work 1st, 2nd or 3rd Shift

Responsabilités

• Direct, coordinate, train, coach and supervise daily activities of production staff to meet safety, quality, delivery and productivity goals.
• Provide clear expectations and direction to employees.
• Create and monitor daily flow of material and department efficiency.
• Implement continuous improvement plans for equipment and department.
• Monitor department budget and reduce production/MRO costs.
• Collaborate with EHS, Planning, Engineering and Quality departments.
• Maintain effective communication through toolbox and employee meetings.
• Follow union contracts and company policies; resolve work problems.
• Maintain accurate time/attendance records.
• Coordinate activities with Group Leaders and other departments; ensure inventory accuracy.
• Partner with HR and management on grievances and disciplinary actions.
• Make daily production schedule decisions and address personnel matters affecting delivery and quality.
