Job summary

US Tsubaki Automotive, LLC is seeking an Automatic Assembly, Set Up & Operate role to assemble Automotive Timing Chain components by setting up machines, performing changeovers, and following work standards. The operator uses quality tools and downtime data to ensure traceability and defect prevention.

The position requires 2–5 years of experience with multiple machines, a safety-first mindset, strong mechanical aptitude, and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• 2-5 years of experience running multiple machines and performing preventative maintenance.
• Safety first mindset.

• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to use material handling devices such as hand trucks and hydraulic lift trucks.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance inspections before the start of each shift and apply oil or grease to specified areas.
• Changeovers and adjustments to assemble automotive timing chain components.
• Basic troubleshooting of chain assembly equipment and interpreting alarm messages.
• Operate the assembly line including roller link, chain assembly, riveting, pre-stressing, articulation checking, center distance measuring, and finishing steps.
• Adhere to work standards and maintain production schedules, quality control records, and traceability data.
• Prepare test samples for quality control and record data using required forms.
• Utilize machine-monitoring systems to record downtime.
• Detect faulty operation or defective material and report to supervisor.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety regulations.
• Perform other similar duties as required or directed.
