Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years previous experience in manufacturing environment as a supervisory/lead role.
• Knowledge of production scheduling, capacity planning and supporting manufacturing functions.
• Strong leadership with ability to guide people and deliver results.
• Ability to balance safety, quality, productivity, cost and employee relations.

Responsibilities

• Assigns operators’ tasks and coordinates with other departments to meet production targets.
• Enforces policies, rules, and procedures; conducts hiring, training, counseling and discipline as needed.
• Coaches employees, resolves issues, and reviews performance; maintains positive employee relations.
• Balances quality, productivity, cost and safety; tracks performance measures and provides progress reports.
• Plans capacity, ensures resources and training, and conducts team coaching sessions.
