Job summary

GRAMMER is seeking a Production Scheduler for its Shannon, MS location to plan and schedule production based on customer releases, acting as a liaison between the customer and the plant to ensure timely shipment.

Requirements include 2+ years of production scheduling experience in an automotive environment, strong SAP/MRP skills, and associate degree or equivalent experience. You will coordinate with Customer Service, maintain inventory levels, and support year-end counts.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree or Equivalent Experience.
• Minimum 2 years production scheduling experience in a similar environment.
• Auto/Truck manufacturing experience (Automotive/Tier1/Tier2)
• Significant experience with MRP and scheduling systems (specifically SAP)
• Ability to identify urgent or emerging problems and coordinate corrective actions with colleagues.

• Maintains inventory levels to meet production schedule
• Collaborates with Customer Service to prioritize and fulfill customer needs
• Guides material planning for on-hand component inventory
• Monitors inventory adjustments and cycle counts
• Coordinates forecasts with Production Manager
• Tracks schedule performance vs. production actuals
• Monitors customer computer systems for daily changes
• Prepares and distributes customer releases
• Participates in year-end inventory planning and counts
