Job summary

Impellam Group is seeking a Production Supervisor in Spring Hill, Tennessee to oversee and coordinate production staff, including as Production Paint Shop Group Leader for UAW team members. Pay rate is $40-45/hr with a Monday–Friday schedule and two shifts (6:00 AM–2:30 PM, 4:00 PM–12:30 AM).

The role involves ensuring efficient production, quality control, and staff development across a 14–18 person team, with duties spanning planning, reporting, and compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; an Associate's degree in business or related field preferred.
• 5-7 years of automotive manufacturing experience required.
• Strong analytical ability to review production data and identify issues.

Responsibilities

• Recommend measures to motivate employees and improve production methods, equipment performance, product quality, or efficiency.
• Review operations and confer with technical and administrative staff to resolve production or processing problems.
• Develop and implement production tracking and quality control systems; analyze data to detect issues.
• Hire, train, evaluate, and discharge staff, and resolve personnel grievances.
• Prepare and maintain production reports and personnel records.
• Lead and manage a team of 14-18 members, including setting up containment processes and enforcing shop-floor discipline.
