• Strong understanding of design and engineering release activities.
• Familiarity with APQP and quality systems in automotive.
• Experience with CAD/CAE tools such as CATIA V5 or NX/UG.

Responsibilities

• Create APQP and engineering documents; support design from concept through SOP.
• Attend customer build events and address root cause issues.
• Negotiate with customers on design, styling and engineering requirements.
• Provide design proposals for automotive components using 2D & 3D tools.
• Develop drawings and participate in Design FMEA; ensure manufacturability and cost targets.
