Job summary

SLPT Automotive is seeking a Product Development Engineer to join the global Pump team and develop new mechanical and mechatronic products. You will interface with customers to grow business in North America and Europe and lead development programs to a successful launch.

You will collaborate with design engineering, sales, purchasing and manufacturing teams to ensure high quality design developments, cost effectiveness and timely delivery in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering.
• Proficiency in NX and CATIA is required.
• Familiar with GD&T principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead product design and development activities for assigned customer applications.
• Translate customer requirements into product specifications and APQP documents.
• Collaborate with North America and global teams on program status and design changes.
• Prepare design packages, drawings, and specifications for release and validation.
• Support customer testing, validation, and on-site activities as needed.
