Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, engineering, sales, or quality, with automotive purchasing preferred.
• Experience with automotive commodities, supplier management, and strategic sourcing.
• Strong negotiation, cost management, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively across cross-functional teams.
• Experience with ERP systems and purchasing processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for assigned automotive commodities and suppliers.
• Lead supplier selection activities for new model programs in partnership with engineering, design, quality, and finance teams.
• Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and cost-reduction initiatives to achieve annual savings targets.
• Analyze market trends, supplier capabilities, and industry developments to support strategic sourcing decisions.
• Build strong supplier relationships and drive continuous improvement in quality, cost, and delivery performance.
• Manage purchasing projects from concept through production launch, ensuring timelines and cost goals are met.
• Support supplier quotations, BOM maintenance, and purchasing process improvements.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing purchasing organization.
