The role involves selecting and managing a supplier base, issuing RFQs for multi-year production quantities, negotiating long-term agreements, and leading annual cost-reduction initiatives.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 2–5 years of supply chain experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management or related field with 2–5 years of supply chain experience.
• Experience with OEM or parts supplier exposure preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, analytical and organizational skills.
• Proficient with SAP and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate purchasing activities between Kia Georgia and suppliers to optimize cost, development, quality, delivery, and safety.
• Select, develop and manage supplier base, prepare RFQs, negotiate long-term agreements, and drive cost reductions.
• Analyze supplier development timelines, verify tooling, packaging, and start-up milestones.
• Monitor supplier performance metrics and drive corrective actions and improvements.
• Prepare materials and reports for internal meetings.
