Job summary

The Edge Development Group is seeking a Process Engineer for an automotive manufacturing facility in Elizabethtown, KY. You will determine operations to produce glass products and develop and improve processes to meet safety, quality, cost, and efficiency requirements.

Responsibilities include ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining safety, evaluating processes, solving equipment issues, and improving workflow and layout.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent.
• 1–3 years hands-on process engineering in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes; automotive experience preferred.
• 1+ year experience with PPAP/PFMEA.

Responsibilities

• Assures compliance with legal, regulatory, and company practices.
• Ensures safety within the production area.
• Evaluates and improves manufacturing processes.
• Troubleshoots equipment issues and finds solutions.
• Improves efficiency by planning workflow and equipment layout.
• Prepares product and process reports from data and trends.
• Participates in problem-solving for quality, maintenance, and processes.
• Updates and develops Process Flow and PFMEA plans.
