Job summary

Generation Auto Group, including Autoworld Kia in East Meadow, NY, seeks a Lot Attendant / Porter to maintain the lot and inventory, prep vehicles for display and test drives, and support the sales team with daily operations. You will move cars, ensure cleanliness, and help with deliveries in a fast-paced automotive environment.

You should have a valid driver’s license, be reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to drive automatic vehicles; manual is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Move and park vehicles safely and in an organized manner.
• Maintain lot appearance and presentable alignment.
• Transport vehicles to car wash, gas station, and between dealership locations.
• Ensure vehicles have fuel and are ready for test drives.
• Assist with vehicle deliveries by pulling cars for customers.
• Check vehicles for cleanliness, damage, battery life, and tire pressure.
• Assist with stocking new and used inventory.
• Keep showroom and display areas clean and organized.
• Support sales and management with daily lot needs.
• Assist with snow removal during winter.
• Follow safety procedures when operating and moving vehicles.

As a Lot Attendant /Porter at Autoworld Kia, part of the Generation Auto Group, you are responsible for maintaining the organization, cleanliness, and overall presentation of the dealership lot and inventory. You play a key role in ensuring vehicles are ready for display, test drives, and delivery.
