Job summary

Volkswagen of Orlando is seeking a Porter to maintain the cleanliness and readiness of vehicles and assist with transportation of vehicles and customers on the lot and showroom.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to operate machinery safely.
• Must be able to drive both manual and automatic transmissions.
• Valid state driver's license.
• Ability to operate a vehicle.
• Experience with hand and power tools.
• Willingness to undergo background check.
• 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Keep vehicle lot neat and orderly; move units per managers and display standards.
• Transport customers and dealership personnel as needed.
• Assist with customer deliveries.
• Ensure all vehicles are clean and in good repair on lot/showroom.
• Pickup/Deliver vehicles between storage and other dealerships.
• Assist with weather-related cleanup when necessary.
• Perform building and grounds maintenance as needed.
• Handle other duties and special projects as assigned.

Job Responsibilities:

• Keeping vehicle lot neat and orderly, moving units as directed by the Sales/Service managers and in accordance with dealership display standards
• Transporting customers and dealership personnel, as needed
• Assisting with customer deliveries
• Ensuring all vehicles are clean and in good repair on the lot and showroom
• Picking up vehicles from storage and deliver vehicles to storage and other dealerships
• Assisting with weather related clean up when necessary
• Building and grounds maintenance as needed
• Other functions and special projects may be assigned
